Placing an Order for Products or Services with Barton McGill
When you shop with us, placing an order is simple. Just add the desired products to your cart and follow our easy checkout process which includes delivery information and payment details. Upon completion of your transaction, we'll provide a summary page containing all the relevant particulars of your purchase - ideal for keeping as a receipt. Additionally, please note that larger trade quantities are not available here; also purchases may be limited to specific amounts in each individual transaction.
To keep everyone up to date on orders placed successfully on our site, an email will automatically be sent confirming acceptance by ourselves once it’s been secured.
Refusing or Cancelling an Order
We take pride in providing our customers with top-quality goods and services. However, should we no longer have access to these items or detect any signs of fraudulent activity, we reserve the right to refuse an order entirely.
Additionally, if there is a pricing error on our website due to technical issues or other listing errors then we are also obligated to cancel orders arising from such mistakes.
Ultimately, it is up us as service providers determine which applications fall under this rule – granting us legal protection against alleged misuse of both unwanted commercial interests and malicious activities alike
At Barton McGill, we understand the value of convenience when it comes to completing a purchase. That's why provide several payment options through our secure checkout process – including Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards and Q Card payments.

If you think your product has been compromised during delivery, we urge that the parcel and its contents be kept intact in their original packaging. Contact us to set up a return for inspection - our team will assess it and do their best to get a replacement out as soon as possible. When a product is out-of-stock, it will be placed on backorder, and you'll be notified. If the item can't arrive within 10 working days, we can offer a full refund - just let us know if this is what you'd prefer! However, in rare cases where an item has been discontinued or isn't available for extended periods of time, our team will contact you to discuss alternative options.
At Barton McGill, we strive to process all orders within 1-3 working days. For quicker arrival times and added peace of mind, you can track your delivery with the link provided in the dispatch email after it has been sent out. If speed is a concern for your package, please let us know so that necessary arrangements may be made accordingly
Hamilton customers should expect receipt within 1-2 business days while North Island non rural areas will have packages arrive between 2 - 3 business days; Rural deliveries take longer at 3 - 6 business day window whereas Rest of New Zealand Non-Rural places will receive their order in about 3 – 4 Business Days' time frame.
To ensure successful delivery and sign off on receiving goods properly, kindly provide an address where someone would be present during regular work hours.
At Barton McGill, we go the extra mile to ensure your orders arrive safely and on time. That's why we always send out goods with track and trace capabilities as well as 'SIGNATURE REQUIRED' for delivery confirmation - so you can have peace of mind that everything arrives securely. We ask our customers to make sure their delivery information is up to date when ordering from us; New Zealand Post provides resources should it be needed in order to get this right the first time around. In case anything happens during transit though, please reach out within seven business days afterwards: Our team will process a claim against courier companies while providing you with options such as replacement merchandise or refund reimbursement if required.

Long Haul (Bay of Plenty, Taranaki, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu-Wanganui, Wellington) - $15.00
Inter-Island Economy (Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland) - $20.00
