All products sold on bartonmcgill.co.nz are 100% genuine. There are NO fakes, imitations, copies, knock offs or damaged goods.
Price
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars inclusive of GST on the website and in any other correspondence. Prices shown in any other currency are approximate only, and are subject to change.
Prices may be adjusted for any reason, and may vary at any time.
Payment Terms
Payment can be made by, Mastercard, Visa, Eftpos, bank deposit or by cash on collection. If paying by direct bank deposit our bank account details will be emailed to you once your purchase has been placed.
Use of Products
Mantrap accepts no liability for misuse of any products sold through the Barton McGill site. By purchasing any of the goods listed on the Barton McGill site purchasers understand how the products are to be used and use them at their discretion.
Illegal Use of Website
Barton McGill accepts no liability for illegal or inappropriate use of the website. Barton McGill policy is to not use the website for any illegal or inappropriate policy. Contracts
Only parties which can enter into legal contracts may purchase good or services through Barton McGill. A contract is made when a receipt is issued for payment of your transaction. Barton McGill reserves the right to not supply an order if the product is unavailable, the price or description is incorrect, or for any other reason.
Provision of Information
The onus is on the purchaser to ensure that the correct information is provided to Barton McGill. This includes name, address, contact numbers and email addresses. Barton McGill accepts no liability or responsibility for issues or costs arising from incorrect information being supplied to Barton McGill.
Title & Risk
Once they have been fully paid for, the ownership passes to the purchaser. The purchaser is deemed the importer of the goods. Responsibility to meet any laws, pay any duties, taxes or charges passes to the purchaser once the order has been dispatched.
Delivery
Goods will be dispatched within three days of payment being received. Most goods will reach the purchaser within three to four days of making payment. However for rural delivery please allow an extra day. If for some reason your goods do not arrive during this time please email or phone us.
Some times goods will be out of stock, so please allow up to 15 working days for delivery in these cases.
Barton McGill will insure all goods up to when they come off the carrier at their final destination. If you receive damaged goods you must let us know within 48 hours of the goods being delivered. You must also acknowledge the damage when signing the consignment notes.
Terms of Use
Barton McGill publishes its terms of use via a link on each page. Use of the website is subject to the reading and agreement to the terms of use. If any purchaser disagrees with the terms of use, they must discontinue viewing and using of the website.
Indemnity

Returns
All of our products come with a 10 day money back guarantee. Note this is a return to base policy, the goods must be returned repackaged and in as new condition. This applies if there is a fault in the product or if for some reason it is not as described in our advert. It does not apply if you have grown tired of the item so please choose carefully and ask as many questions as you like prior to the purchase.
The goods must be returned back into our warehouse no more than 10days after the purchase for the guarantee to be valid

Cancellations
Once an order has been placed and paid for there is no cancellation on the product.

Credit Card Security
All staff at Barton McGill are trained in our credit card security policies, and these are strictly enforced.

Credit card authorizations use the same system as all retailers use throughout New Zealand - the EFTPOS network - a secure, standard and reliable system.
When you order online, your credit card number is taken in a secure session using 128bit SSL security. This is the strongest security available to the public today, and encrypts your card details before they are sent through to the bank.
Encrypting means your card numbers are changed into jumble text which only the bank will understand.
Humans will not be able to read it. This process of encryption will not be visible to you when you process your sale - it is all automatic!
When you order online, the secure server talks to the bank (two computers talking to each other), and humans are not involved. This removes all possibility of human credit card fraud.
If you order via post, phone or fax, all Barton McGill staff will treat your credit card number as private and only use it for the purposes of processing your order.
